Comprises of nine decks, has capacity of 15,400 tons, length 157 and width 22
metres. She has been built in Finland in 1975 and was rebuilt and completely
refurbished in 1999. She can accommodate up to 800 passengers in luxury suites
and comfortable multi-category cabins. Most of them have window view to the sea
and they are all equipped with private facilities and LCD TVs.
The public areas include the following five spacious lounge suites all decorated
in a very pleasant and hospitable manner: the large and comfortable
entertainment lounge, the rustic sea styled piano bar, the discotheque, the Sky
bar and the Nautilus bar. The swimming pool bar is equipped with a self service
buffet and is surrounded by a large adult pool and a smaller one for children.

The open decks are ideal for relaxing walks and they can
be used for sports activities such as basketball, table tennis etc. The
dining room is extremely large with uninterrupted view to the sea and is
furnished with comfortable seats. The ship also has a gym room, sauna,
children’s playground, casino, library, internet café and roomy
gift/duty free shop.
There is also an amphitheatre of 140 seats ideal for conferences, movies,
lectures and business presentations.
The SALAMIS FILOXENIA is replacing the
SALAMIS GLORY and upgrading the cruise product of the island, taking tourism in Cyprus a step forward.
